Cosmetics are not changing

Common causes

  • The bot is offline or not in your party
  • Cosmetic commands are disabled or restricted in the category settings
  • The name you typed does not match any cosmetic
  • You sent the message in game chat instead of party chat
  • The item is a type the bot cannot equip (gliders, wraps, sprays)

Fixing it

Confirm the bot is online and in your party, check that cosmetic commands are allowed, then send the name again in party chat, spelled as closely as you can.

If the bot replies with a numbered list, reply with the number of the item you want. See Changing skins, emotes and other cosmetics for the full command list.

Multiple matches

Fuzzy search means a short name can match several items. When that happens the bot lists the matches and waits for you to pick one by number - only the person who asked can choose.

If you don't want to guess, use a longer, more exact name, or use cosmetic-info <name> to check what the bot finds.
