# Fixing lag and connection issues

Troubleshoot lag, disconnects and failed matchmaking when using FNLB bot lobbies.

## Common causes

Connection problems usually come from one of these:

- An unstable or slow internet connection
- Multiple bots in one party
- A game mode that does not support bot lobbies
- The bot still booting up or temporarily disconnected
- A temporary FNLB or Fortnite service issue

## Quick fixes

- Restart Fortnite and the FNLB App
- Switch to a **wired** connection if possible
- Keep only **one bot** in the party
- Use a supported mode with **No Fill**
- Wait for the bot to finish booting before inviting it
- Try again in a few minutes if the service is busy

## If the bot keeps disconnecting

If the bot drops repeatedly:

1. Stop and start it again from the FNLB App.
2. Confirm it shows as Available before inviting it.
3. Remove it from the party and friends list, then re-add it.
