# Bot appears offline

What to do when your FNLB bot shows as offline or keeps disconnecting.

## Check the bot and service status

First confirm the bot is started and shows **Available** in the FNLB App. Then check for FNLB announcements - if every bot is offline at once, it is usually a temporary service issue.

Remember that **Booting** and **Disconnected** are not the same as Offline, and a bot in **In use** is simply already in a party.

## Restart the bot

Stop and start the bot again from the FNLB App. If it still will not stay online:

1. Remove it from your Fortnite party and friends list.
2. Re-add it and invite it fresh.
3. Confirm the Epic Games account was not changed or recovered elsewhere.

## Still offline?

If everything looks right but the bot never comes online, ask in the [FNLB Discord](https://fnlb.net/discord) and include your bot name and region.
