# Getting your bot online

Make sure your custom FNLB bot is online and ready to join your Fortnite party.

## Understand the bot status

Every bot shows a status in the FNLB App:

- **Offline** - not running
- **Booting** - starting up and signing in
- **Available** - online and ready to join parties
- **In use** - already in a party
- **Disconnected** - lost connection and will retry

A bot that is Offline, Booting or Disconnected cannot join your party or respond to commands.

## Bring the bot online

1. Open **My Bots** in the FNLB App.
2. Select your bot or category and press **Start**.
3. Wait for the status to change to **Available**.
4. Now invite the bot to your Fortnite party.

The first start can take a moment while the bot signs in to Epic Games.

## Still offline?

If the bot will not come online:

- Confirm the imported Epic Games account is still valid and was not changed
- Stop and start the bot again
- Check the [FNLB Discord](https://fnlb.net/discord) for announcements
