Bot is not joining my party

Common symptoms

Common issues include:

• You invited the bot but nothing happens
• The bot joins briefly and then leaves
• The bot appears offline in your friends list
• The bot accepts friend request but won't join party

Basic checks

Start with these simple checks:

• Correct Username: Confirm you invited the correct bot username
• Bot Limit: Depending on the category config, some bots may have a limit of bots per lobby, Kick other bots or increase the limit.
• Privacy Settings: Check that party privacy settings allow friends to join
• Service Status: Check FNLB status or announcements for known issues
• Basic Restart: Restart Fortnite and try inviting the bot again
• Friend Limit: Ensure you haven't reached Fortnite's friend limit (1,000 friends)

Party privacy

Fortnite party settings can sometimes prevent bots from joining:

• Privacy Settings: Set your party to "Friends" or "Public" while testing
• Platform Issues: Some platforms have intermittent issues - try switching platforms if possible

If you've tried all the above and the bot still won't join:

1. Join Discord Support: Join the FNLB Discord and describe the issue in the support channel
2. Provide Details: Include your platform, region, bot name, and any screenshots
3. Alternative Bots: Try a different bot from the official list
