Why enable 2FA?
Two-factor authentication (2FA) requires a one-time code from your authenticator app in addition to your password. Even if someone learns your password, they cannot sign in without the code.
FNLB accounts can manage many bots, so we strongly recommend enabling 2FA.
Turning on 2FA
2FA is managed from the dashboard, not the marketing site:
- Open your account page at app.fnlb.net/account.
- Click Enable MFA.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Authy or 1Password.
- Enter the generated code to confirm and finish enabling it.
Once enabled, signing in and sensitive actions (like a password reset) will ask for a code.
Recovery codes
When you set up 2FA you are given one-time recovery codes. Save them somewhere safe - each code works once and is the quickest way back in if you lose your phone.
You can regenerate replacement codes from the same account page if you run low. If you are locked out and have no recovery codes, ask for help in the FNLB Discord.
Signing in with 2FA
After entering your password, sign-in asks for a code. Enter the current code from your authenticator app, or a recovery code.
The challenge is short-lived and allows only a handful of attempts, so have your code ready before starting. If it expires, simply log in again.
