# Deleting your FNLB account

How to close your FNLB account and what happens to your bots and data.

## Before you delete

Deleting your account is **permanent**. FNLB refuses to delete an account that still owns bots or categories, so first:

1. Stop and delete all of your bots
2. Delete any categories you created
3. Make sure you no longer need access to them

If you only want to take a break, simply stop your bots instead - there is no need to delete anything.

## How to delete your account

1. Open your account page at [app.fnlb.net/account](https://app.fnlb.net/account).
2. Scroll to the danger zone and click **Delete Account**.
3. Enter your password and complete the captcha.
4. Confirm the deletion.

You will be logged out immediately and an email confirming the deletion is sent to you. Once deleted, you cannot sign in again with that account.
